About Gabriola Georgia Strait Cam

The Gabriola Georgia Strait Cam is located above Locke Bay on the north side of Gabriola Island, British Columbia.

 

The camera overlooks Entrance Island, the Sunshine Coast, the North Shore Mountains and Vancouver. Enjoy the wildlife and marine traffic of the Georgia Strait part of The Salish Sea.

 

When using the live streaming camera to check weather, Check the bottom lefthand corner of the video screen. It should say live in a red cloud. If not we are experiencing a technical problem and our server has start prerecorded video.

 

As the daylight  decreases the camera will automatically change to black and white to draw more light and make a clearer picture.
